Description
Position Description
Receives, logs and processes all work orders, in line with Maintenance Work Order procedure.
Prepares detailed job step plans in proper execution sequence, with details of craft man-hour and crew size requirements for each step to
ensure efficient completion of work to meet operational requirements.
Visits job sites when necessary to determine special job requirements.
Identifies all materials, tools, equipment, and special preparations required for each job step.
Have a good knowledge of Saudi Aramco Materials System on SAP, including use of the SAMS Catalog, requisitioning of SAMS stock items
and Direct Charge materials #9COMs#, use of surplus materials, returning surplus and excess materials to the Storehouse and all related
SCMM Procedures.
Ensures that materials are on-site prior to scheduling the job.
Arranges for and schedules support service equipment, to coincide with the work order scheduling.
Participates in the Weekly/Schedule Coordination Meeting and presents the Weekly Schedule of workable maintenance jobs from the
backlog.

Prepare the Weekly Schedule for approval.
Prepares daily schedules from the approved Weekly Schedule, Coordinates daily schedules with Maintenance Foremen, Supervisor and
Operations Foremen
Ensures that materials are received prior to scheduling the job.
Daily review of all released maintenance orders material reservations, committed materials prior to scheduling the work.
Checks, received, store materials for scheduled work.
Attends meeting & responsible for making the weekly and the daily work schedules.
Updates maintenance order statuses as to whether jobs are workable or unworkable, percent completion, estimated completion date, reasons
for delay and all other pertinent information.
Generates SAP reports or BW maintenance reports for performance or tracking analysis.
Maintains work order and equipment history files and is responsible for checking and ensures data is entered. Ensures accuracy of all related
maintenance systems data files.
Provides maintenance performance monitoring data for his assigned area
Selection Criteria
Diploma in Technical Feidl such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation.
10-15 Years Experience
Duties and responsibilities
A. Receives, logs and processes all work orders, ensuring conformance with the latest revision of G.I. 1000.500, Maintenance Work Order.
B. Prepares detailed job step plans in proper execution sequence, with details of craft man-hour and crew size requirements for each step.
Utilizes extensive knowledge of craft skills and knowledge of the equipment involved and places job steps in the proper sequence to ensure
efficient completion of work to meet operational requirements. Visits job sites when necessary to determine special job requirements.
C. Identifies all materials, tools, equipment, and special preparations required for each job step. Must have a good knowledge of Saudi
Aramco Materials System on SAP, including use of the SAMS Catalog, requisitioning of SAMS stock items and Direct Charge materials
#9COMs#, use of surplus materials, returning surplus and excess materials to the Storehouse and all related SCMM Procedures. Ensures
that materials are on-site prior to scheduling the job. Ensures that surplus and excess materials are returned to the proper materials handling
personnel for eventual return to the Storehouse.
D. Provides the foremen with a completed package for successful execution of maintenance work at minimum cost.
E. Arranges for and schedules support service equipment, to coincide with the work order scheduling.
F. Participates in the Weekly/Schedule Coordination Meeting and presents the Weekly Schedule of workable maintenance jobs from the
backlog. Ensures that a clear understanding exists of which jobs will be worked in the upcoming week. Finalizes the Weekly Schedule for
Operations approval.
G. Prepares daily schedules from the approved Weekly Schedule, per Aramco G.I. 1020. Coordinates daily schedules with Maintenance
Foremen, Supervisor and Operations Foremen and ensures that a complete planning package is attached to the work order.
H. Ensures that materials are received prior to scheduling the job.
I. Daily review of all released maintenance orders material reservations , committed materials and performs MIGO_GI prior to scheduling the
work.
J. Checks, received, store materials and issue to craftsmen assigned for Orders on daily schedule work.

K. Request crane/trailer and ensures contracts readiness or other resources required on the daily scheduled jobs.
L. Lists, edits and checks all issued minor maintenance tickets (MMT) and plans/schedules work.
M. Plans major jobs with the assistance & directions of senior planner.
N. Attends meeting & responsible for making the weekly and the daily work schedules.
O. Updates maintenance order statuses as to whether jobs are workable or unworkable, percent completion, estimated completion date,
reasons for delay and all other pertinent information.
P. Generates SAP reports or BW maintenance reports for performance or tracking analysis.
Q. Maintains work order and equipment history files and is responsible for checking and ensures data is entered. Ensures accuracy of all
related maintenance systems data files.
R. Provides maintenance performance monitoring data for his assigned area, segment, unit or division (depending on the organizational
pattern and assignment).
S. Prepares Whole Job Standards and reviews the log of existing Whole Job Standards for potential
