For one of the leading companies in transportation filed in KSA urgently required finance director experience not less than 20 years
Qualification, Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Key role in the formulation of strategic plans for the unit to ensure growth meets key targets
2. Key role in driving cultural change throughout to execute agreed upon business strategy
3. Focus on costing and pricing services as well as tracking effectiveness and efficiency / productivity
4. Inventory control (mostly spare parts/ if any ) as well as Asset Registers
5. Drive the Budgeting & Balance Scorecard processes (including development as required). Ensure that these processes are used as key tools and progress measuring barometers to support business performance
6. Timely and meaningful weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual financial reporting & financial analysis in the level of detail required by each internal and external user group
7. Effective cash flow management. Focus areas will include: capital efficiency management (working capital minimization and control; capex financial control management; capital employed barometers and strategies (with Hafil Group CFO)
8. As required, liaise with the internal and external stakeholders including other units’ FDs, government agencies, suppliers, insurance companies, consultants & advisors, internal auditors, external auditors, insources and outsourcers
9. Presenting to the corporate management reports on the company`s general performance
10. Identify financial and business risk areas. Lead actions to mitigate these risks. Focus areas will include but not be limited to:
Ø  Developing internal control as required by the business and by other interested parties (management; government; internal & external auditors; insourcers and outsourcers; )
Ø  Developing financial & accounting approaches, policies and procedures (including: Credit; Costing / Management Acct; Transfer Pricing & management; CAPEX;  Accounting;  Risk Management; controls; budgeting & rolling forecasting) and ensuring their consistent effective and efficient functioning
Ø  Ensuring appropriate depreciation and provision policies are in place and functioning effectively
Ø  Ensuring adequate legal review policies of all contracts are in place and functioning.
Ø  Ensure adequate insurance coverage Participating in negotiations and reviews of all key contracts before finalization
Ø  Ensuring effective compliance with policies and procedures
11. Develop Managing all matters pertaining to any applicable taxation (i.e. Zakat (capital Tax); withholding taxes; etc)
12. Supervise, actively mentor and develop team members when applicable
13. Ensure that the decision makers in the company understand the financial implications of the missions they set for their company in a specific period
14. Held accountable for any financial decisions made in the company because he is the ultimate authorizing entity
15. Approves finances to be used in specific projects by the company based on estimates made by the accounting department
16. Work closely to resolve all critical pending issues, Bottlenecks, Obsolete items, Litigations and legal issues. And legacy issues i.e. overdue imprest funds for instance
